Henniker, N.H. – UMaine-Farmington's field hockey team battled New England College on Saturday afternoon to a final score of 4-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Alex Bessey scored two goals on the day with the first goal coming in the third quarter on a breakaway. The second goal happened in the third quarter with Kasey Talarico on the assist.
• Brittany Tierney scored three goals for the Pilgrims while Makenna Platte scored one with Leah Foster on the assist.
• Katelyn Rouleau made three saves on the day while Ellie Philben made four saves for the Pilgrims.
• The Beavers were outshot 13-11 on the day while the Pilgrims made a total of six saves on the day to the Beavers three.
