Clermont, Fla. – UMaine-Farmington's baseball team closed out their spring trip against McDaniel on Saturday morning with a final score of 6-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Gavin Arsenault started on the mound for the Beavers, going five innings, giving up eight hits with three earned runs while striking out four. Ryan Pratt finished the game, going four innings, giving up four hits and two runs with four strikeouts.
• Chase Malloy went 204 at the plate with one run while Justin Rodrigue went 1-4 with a run.
• Derek Bowen went 1-4 with an RBI as Troy Johnson went 1-4 with an RBI as well.
• Jordan Rhodes went six innings for McDaniel, giving up five hits and one earned run while striking out eight. Brad Thaxton went three innings with five strikeouts.
• Dj Biscoe went 3-5 at the plate with one RBI and two runs as Ryan Downes went 1-1 with two RBI's.
