Lewiston, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's softball team split a doubleheader with UMaine-Presque Isle on Sunday afternoon at Lewiston High School for senior day.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Game One (W, 5-4)

• Brianna McGrath started on the mound for the Beavers, going seven innings, giving up seven hits and four earned runs with seven strikeouts.
• Makayla Wilson went 2-4 at the plate with one RBI and one run as Leah Stevens went 0-2 but notched an RBI.
• Kayleigh Oberg went 1-2 with one RBI and two walks as Karen Flaherty went 1-2 with one RBI.
• Brookelynn Garcia stared on the mound for the Owls, going four innings, giving up five hits and two earned runs with five walks. Savannah Borland went two innings, giving up three hits and two earned runs with one walk.
• Melanee Terry went 3-3 at the plate with two RBI and a run as Delanie Strout went 0-1 with an RBI and a run.
• Anaiz Diaz went 1-3 with one RBI as Sarah Duncklee went 2-3 with two runs.
