Lewiston, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's baseball team battled Bates College in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon with a final score of 10-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Beavers threw five different pitchers with Cole Lockhart starting the game, going 3.1 innings, giving up 11 hits and seven earned runs. Hunter Bolduc threw an inning and two-thirds, giving up three hits and one run.
• Patrick Fallon threw an inning followed by Nathan Poulin with Jake Bessey closing the game.
• Chase Malloy went 2-4 with a run as Hunter LaBossiere went 1-4 with an RBI.
• Kevin Carter, Justin Rodrigue, Troy Johnson, Danny Terhune, and Jake Bessey each notched a hit.
• Brendan Smith threw one inning while picking up the win for the Bobcats.
• Will Sylvia went 1-1 with three RBI as Dan Trulli went 3-5 with two RBI as Pat Beaton went 3-6 with one RBI and one run.
