Lewiston, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's softball team split a doubleheader with SUNY Canton on Sunday afternoon in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.

Game One (W, 9-6)

• Brianna McGrath went seven innings for the Beavers, giving up nine hits with four earned runs and three strikeouts.
• Makayla Wilson led the Beavers at the plate after going 2-3 with two RBI, two runs with her first career home run.
• Kayleigh Oberg went 3-4 with two RBI as Haley Holt went 1-3 with two RBI.
• Kayla Chavarri threw 1.2 innings for the Kangaroos, giving up five hits with five earned runs as Alaina Beane went 4.1 innings, giving up eight hits with four earned runs.
• Chavarri went 1-3 with three RBI and a home run as Jaedyn Ossont went 2-4 with one RBI.

Game Two (L, 5-3)

• Kailyn Hill started on the mound for the Beavers, going seven innings with 10 hits and five earned runs.
• Broghan Gagnon joined the home run party with her first career home run as Haley Holt also went 1-3 with an RBI.
• Alaina Beane threw seven innings, giving up five hits and two earned runs with one strikeout.
• Kayal Chavarri went 2-3 with three RBI and one run as Valeria Clark went 3-4 with an RBI.
