Beavers Score Early Against Husson

Bangor, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's field hockey team scored early in the opening five minutes against Husson on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Alex Bessey scored the first goal for the Beavers at the 3:50 mark to give the Beavers an early 1-0 lead.
  • Caroline Johnson scored for the Eagles in the second quarter to tie the game at one with the assist going to Ryley Newcomb.
  • Leigha Carrier scored in the third quarter with Kolby Kain on the assist to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead.
  • Adelle Foss and Victoria Friend each scored in the fourth quarter for a final score of 4-1.
  • Katelyn Rouleau made nine saves for the Beavers as Kimmie Goddard and Andrea Shaggy tallied five saves on the day.

UP NEXT
The Beavers will travel to Thomas on Wednesday for a 7:00 PM start time.
