Farmington, Maine - UMaine-Farmington's baseball team opened up their five-game series against Thomas College with a 9-4 victory on Hippach Field Thursday afternoon in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.

IN THE BOX

• Ky Morris started on the mound and picked up the win for the Beavers, going 6.1 innings, giving up just four hits and two earned runs with three strikeouts. Chris Albert went 0.2 innings while Brice Springer and Aaron Goschke finished the game for the Beavers. 
• Ryan Simard went 2-3 at the plate with three RBI's while Andrew Hopkins went 2-4 with two RBI's and two runs.
• Hunter LaBossiere went 1-5 with one RBI and three runs as Riley Bartell went 1-3 with a run. 
• Nicholas Howard went 2.1 innings for the Terriers, giving up three hits with four earned runs and three walks. Ryan Scepansky went 2.2 innings, giving up four hits and two earned runs. Andrew Pruell, Evan McLean, and Ethan Lachance each threw one inning.
