Farmington, Maine – UMaine-Farmington's baseball team battled NVU-Lyndon to the end on Friday afternoon on Hippach Field in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action.

IN THE BOX

• Jordi Valls and Riley Bartell each homered with Valls going 2-4 on the day and Bartell going 1-4 with two runs.
• Andrew Hopkins went 2-4 with Ryan Sargent going 2-3 for the Beavers with one RBI and a walk.
• Ky Morris threw 4.1 innings with seven hits and five earned runs with six strikeouts, Brice Springer threw 2.2 innings, giving up three hits and one earned run while striking out four. Cal Tibbitts threw the final two innings, giving up just one hit.
• Cooper Whitehouse threw seven innings for the Hornets, giving up nine hits and four earned runs with three strikeouts. Codi Smith threw two innings, walking two and striking out two.
• Smith and Steven Friscia each homered for the Hornets while Smith went 2-3 with two RBI's and Friscia went 2-4 with one RBI and a run.
• Jordan Cane went 2-4 at the plate with two RBIs and one run with Tyler Roberge notching and RBI.
