Farmington Finishes 7th at NAC Championship

COBLESKILL, New York – The University of Maine at Farmington men's golf team entered day two of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship on Sunday in seventh place and finished the event in the same position, placing seventh overall. The Beavers posted a two-day total of 714 (+154), including a team score of 369 (+89) on Sunday.

SUNY Delhi captured the NAC title, overtaking defending champion Husson University after shooting 17-over par on Sunday to gain 13 strokes on the Eagles and finish 43-over for the event.

Beaver Golfers:

Farmington was once again led by first-year Caleb Harvey (Bath, Maine), who carded a 10-over 80 for the second straight day. Harvey shot 39 (+3) on the front nine and birdied two of the first four holes on the back before closing with three consecutive double bogeys for a 41 (+7) on the back. Over the two-day tournament, Harvey finished 20-over (160) to place 15th overall.

Sophomore Jackson Forrest (Portland, Maine), playing out of the five spot, was the Beavers' second-lowest scorer. Forrest improved by seven strokes from Saturday to Sunday, recording an 87 (+17) in the final round. He played steady golf on the front nine at 5-over before carding a 46 (+12) on the back, highlighted by birdies on holes 10 and 18. Forrest finished 41-over (181) for the tournament to place 32nd overall.


First-year Gage Suitter (Bath, Maine) placed 34th overall, shooting an 88 (+18) on Saturday and a 99 (+29) on Sunday. Suitter posted a 54 on the front nine before bouncing back with a 45 on the back to finish the day. His two-day total was 47-over (187).


Sophomore Cooper Boinske (Westfield, Maine) finished just one stroke behind Suitter in 35th place. After carding an 85 (+15) on Saturday, Boinske struggled to a 103 (+33) on Sunday, shooting 51 on the front nine and 52 on the back. His two-day total was 48-over (188).


Sophomore Trent Beaudoin (Farmington, Maine) competed out of the four spot but did not factor into the team's scoring. Beaudoin shot a 104 (+34) on Sunday, recording a 51 on the front nine and a 53 on the back. He finished 56-over (196) for the weekend to place 37th overall.

Season Conclusion:

This weekend's NAC Championship marked the conclusion of the 2025 season for the Beavers.
