Tracy Garners TopDrawerSoccer D3 Player of the Week

FARMINGTON, Maine – University of Maine at Farmington senior forward Natalie Tracy (Oakland, Maine) was named the TopDrawerSoccer NCAA Division III Player of the Week on Saturday after leading the Beavers to a 2-0-1 record last week.

TopDrawerSoccer is a national organization that highlights soccer programs, teams, and athletes from across the country at all levels — from youth and academy teams to collegiate and club soccer.

Tracy was phenomenal last week, as she has been all season long for the Beavers. In the three games Farmington played, she tallied seven goals and one assist, accounting for eight of the team's 12 goals.

Tracy scored multiple goals in each contest, including a hat trick in a 6-0 victory over SUNY Cobleskill last Saturday. Beyond her scoring prowess, she also delivered in dramatic fashion on Sunday. In Farmington's 2-2 draw against SUNY Delhi, after the Beavers conceded the go-ahead goal in the 88th minute, Tracy responded just 30 seconds later, rifling a left-footed shot into the upper-left corner of the net to tie the game and secure a crucial point for the Beavers.

Tracy added another goal on Saturday in Farmington's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) matchup with Maine Maritime, bringing her season total to 16. She entered the week tied for first in the nation in goals scored.
