Tracy and Meak Receive NAC Weekly Honors

WATERVILLE, Maine – University of Maine at Farmington senior forward Natalie Tracy (Oakland, Maine) and first-year midfielder Kyri Meak (Winslow, Maine) have been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

For Tracy, this marks the second time this season she has earned NAC Player of the Week honors. She was a dynamic force for the Beavers last week, scoring seven goals and adding an assist to help Farmington to a 2-0-1 record. On Tuesday against Thomas, Tracy netted two goals, including the game-tying strike in Farmington's come-from-behind victory. She followed that with a three-goal, one-assist performance in a 6-0 NAC win over SUNY Cobleskill. After being held scoreless in the first half, she erupted for a hat trick and an assist in the second half to put the game away. On Sunday against SUNY Delhi, Tracy opened the scoring with a rocket off the crossbar and in, giving the Beavers a 1-0 first-half lead. After the Broncos scored twice in the second half, Tracy delivered a highlight-reel equalizer with just 80 seconds remaining, beating two defenders before blasting a left-footed shot into the upper right corner.

Tracy has had one of the best starts to a season in program history, tallying 15 goals in just nine games. Her 15 goals currently rank among the nation's leaders, tied for first in all of Division III.

Meak, meanwhile, continues to be a steady presence in the midfield, earning her second NAC Rookie of the Week honor this season. She finished the week with two goals and an assist. Against Thomas, she recorded a goal and an assist, with her goal late in the first half breaking a 1-1 tie. She added another goal in Farmington's conference victory over SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday.

Beyond her scoring contributions, Meak has been a key piece in the possession game, consistently serving as an outlet in counter-attack situations. Through nine games, she has six goals and is tied for the team lead with three assists.
