WATERVILLE, Maine – For the first time in her collegiate career, University of Maine at Farmington first-year forward Lilly Gray (Benton, Maine) has been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Gray turned in the best performance of her young career on Friday evening on the road against SUNY Delhi, finishing with a career-high 23 points. She was highly efficient from the field, shooting 11-for-14 in just 20 minutes of action. Gray also finished the game with seven rebounds, including four on the offensive end of the floor.

Gray joins fellow first-year Kytana Williamson (Nobleboro, Maine) as first-year players to receive the honor this season.

Through 14 games this season, Gray is averaging 6.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
