NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track & Field All-Academic Teams on Monday, July 20. Both the men's and women's track & field programs at the University of Maine at Farmington were honored as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams.
For the women's team, this marks the sixth consecutive season earning the distinction. The men's program was recognized for the fourth straight year, continuing the strong academic tradition within the program.
The criteria for being named an NCAA Division III All-Academic Team are as follows:
- The cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least a 3.10 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester or quarter.
- Graduate students must have all undergraduate and graduate coursework taken into account.
Farmington's women's team posted a 3.55 GPA, while the men's cumulative GPA was 3.15 for the 2025-26 academic year.
