FARMINGTON, Maine - University of Maine at Farmington sophomore goalkeeper Hailey Johnson (Augusta, Maine) has been named the Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference (CMCFHC) Goalkeeper of the Week, the organization announced Monday afternoon.

Johnson had a strong week between the pipes for the Beavers, starting and playing the first half in all three games. She allowed just three goals while making 14 saves during the week.

She opened the week by turning aside five of six shots against the University of Southern Maine before recording six saves on the six shots she faced against Western Connecticut State University. Johnson completed the week by making three saves on five shots against the University of Saint Joseph on Sunday.

Through five games this season, Johnson boasts a 1.68 goals-against average and a .857 save percentage. She has made 30 saves while allowing just five goals and currently ranks 66th in the country in goals-against average.

Johnson and the Beavers return to action on Wednesday, traveling to Standish, Maine, to take on Saint Joseph's College of Maine at 5:00 p.m.
