Box Score FARMINGTON -- Alyssa St. Pierre (Jay, ME) notched a hat trick and Kristin Chambers (Gorham, ME) scored twice as the University of Maine at Farmington field hockey team rolled to a 7-0 win over Wheelock in North Atlantic Conference action at Prescott Field on Saturday.
The Beavers (7-4 overall, 5-1 in the NAC) are scheduled to host Castleton State College on Sunday. The Wildcats (3-9, 2-4) are scheduled to take on Thomas in Waterville.
Following St. Pierre and Chambers, Hattie Agnew (Guilford, ME) chipped in a goal and two assists, while Elyse Cole (Winthrop, ME) also netted a goal, Bethany Marshall (York, ME) recorded two assists and Erika Lucas (Augusta, ME) and Jillian Ross (Belfast, ME) also assisted on a goal as UMF outshot Wheelock 34-0.
Kaeleigh Barker (Chichester, NH) and Emily Theriault (Wells, ME) split time in goal for the Beavers. UMF also held an 18-0 command in penalty corners.
Lauren Taveres (Burlington, MA) stopped 22 shots for the Wildcats.
