Beth Yeaton-Evans led the Beavers Field Hockey program from 1988 to 2003 as Head Coach. From 1999-2003 Coach Evans led the Beavers to four conference championships. In 1999 and 2000, the Beavers were Maine Athletic Conference Champions. In 2002, Farmington was added to the North Atlantic Conference where Evans would go on to lead the Beavers to titles in 2002 and 2003. Beth was named the 1999 MAC Coach of the Year. She also recruited high quality student-athletes as in 2003 her teams 3.38 GPA was top 10 in the country. Coach Evans currently works as a professor and supervisor of Secondary and Middle Education at the University of Maine at Farmington.
