Dawn Anne Higgins-Currie is a 1995 graduate of UMF with a degreeĀ in Elementary Education.

Higgins-Currie completed her four years at UMaine-Farmington asĀ the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,333 points, andĀ her 445 points in 1993 was third among single season leaders. SheĀ made 54 3-point field goals in 1992, setting a single season recordĀ for the program at the time.

She remains UMF’s leader in both career 3-point fieldĀ goals made with 165, and free throws made with 368. She was secondĀ among UMF leaders with a .382 career 3-point field goalĀ percentage.

Higgins-Currie also finished her career with 251 assists and 206 steals.Ā 

Higgins-Currie was twice recognized as an Honorable MentionĀ Kodak All-American, and was an All-Maine Athletic ConferenceĀ selection. She was honored at graduation as the senior femaleĀ athlete with the highest grade point average.

At the time of her induction,Ā Dawn Anne was employed as a medical assistant inĀ Candia, N.H.
