Dan LeGage graduated from UMF in 1995 with a degree in Community Health and School Health, after a standout career as a member of the men’s basketball team.

An All-Conference honoree in 1993 and 1994, LeGage finished his career fourth among career scorers with 1,368 points, including just the second 500-point season in program history in 1993-94. He was second in both career steals (142) and career three-point shooting percentage (.359), and closed out his career with what was at the time a program record, 168 three-point field goals. LeGage also ranked fifth in career assists (334) and seventh in career field goals (489) at the time of his graduation. He was named to the All-Maine team in 1993 and 1994.

LeGage formerly served as the varsity boys basketball coach at Deering High School in Portland, while also teaching science.
