Caryn Lasante played basketball from 1995 to 1998 under head coach Len MacPhee at UMaine-Farmington. She finished her collegiate career with 1,153 points – one of just 14 1,000-point scorers in program history at the time of her induction. Upon graduation, she ranked sixth on the all-time scoring list. 

She was team captain her senior year and a First Team All-Conference selection in the Maine Athletic Conference in 1996,1997, and 1998, and held the program’s career blocks record with 152 at the time of graduation.   

Lasante ranks fourth all-time with a career field goal percentage of .544. She is seventh in rebounding tallying 701 boards. She holds the fourth best season in terms of blocks with 50. Her season of 233 rebounds in 1995 ranks eighth best in school history. 

Caryn earned her degree in Education and was teaching English at Thornton Academy in Saco, Maine at the time of her induction.
