Mike Ridley graduated from UMF in 1992 with a degree in Secondary Education (science).

A two-sport standout at UMF,  Ridley played baseball and golfed for the Beavers. 

In baseball, Ridley captained the team for three seasons and earned All-NAIA District 5 All-Star status in 1990 and 1991. He finished his career with 16 victories and currently is tied for second in school history in the category. He is also third in school history in earned run average at 3.64 and 10th in strikeouts at 76.

In golf, Ridley went to the NAIA National Championships in 1988 and 1989 under the direction of head coach Roger Wing. 

As the course superintendent at Nonesuch River Golf Club, Ridley remains involved with golf. He had also coached youth softball and basketball.

Ridley resides in West Baldwin.
